The Role
As the Senior Team Leader Civil Works you will:
* Coordinate and lead the delivery of sealed road, bridge, footpath, and stormwater maintenance works across the municipality.
* Supervise and support works crews and contractors in the day-to-day operations
* Manage the annual maintenance program
* Conduct inspections and audits of civil infrastructure to ensure operational safety and determine maintenance priorities
* Manage operational budgets and resources effectively
* Provide technical advice and responses to maintenance requests
* Promote a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement across the team
What You'll Bring
The successful applicant will have the following:
* A current construction Induction Card (White Card)
* Demonstrated experience in civil works and infrastructure maintenance, particularly roads, bridges, and stormwater
* Strong project management skills, including scheduling, cost planning and reporting
* Proven leadership capability, including team supervision and WHS compliance
* Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Competency using Microsoft 365, email, and web-based programs relevant to works management
