The Opportunity
Newcastle Anglican are seeking experienced Care Assistants to join on a permanent part time basis at Warnervale Gardens - Woongarrah NSW. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing excellent care to seniors in our residential aged care home.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic individual looking to work in a great team environment. You will have the opportunity to make every moment matter by bringing respect, compassion, integrity and enhancing the wellbeing of our residents and consumers.
Shifts availabilities are Mornings, Afternoon + Night shifts on a fixed roster.

Role & Responsibilities:
* Actively promote Anglican Care's positive culture through interactions with residents, staff and their families
* Consistent delivery of person centered care to residents in our facilities
* Observe confidentiality matters at all times associated with documentation and communications
* Abide by Aged Care Standards
* Work as an effective team member
About you?
* Certificate III/IV in Individual or Ageing Support, or 2nd/3rd Yr RN student
* Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtain
* An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to accurately document residents care/progress
