Agribusiness Relationship Manager - Launceston

Role Overview
This full‐time, permanent position is based in Launceston with a hybrid working model (two days per week at the office and the rest remote). The role requires regular travel (approximately 15,000kmper annum) to visit customers, attend field days and networking events, for which a company‐provided vehicle is supplied.
Responsibilities
- Support a mature portfolio of high‐value Tasmanian customers from the Launceston regional office.
- Identify opportunities to help customers access finance to grow their businesses and enhance regional wealth.
- Prepare concise, accurate and timely loan proposals and reviews while maintaining credit quality.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key business influencers, proactively networking and developing new relationships with potential future customers.
- Increase market share in target markets and identify opportunities for deepening customer relationships and referring opportunities to partners.
Qualifications
- Background in commerce, finance or banking, including lending, credit or deposit areas.
- Understanding of agriculture and farming; experience as a banking/customer relationship manager in agriculture or agribusiness is advantageous but not essential.
- Customer‐centric mindset, curiosity, and a willingness to ask questions and grow personally and professionally.
- Strong networking and relationship‐building skills within the community served.
