Administrative Support Coordinator - Marketing and Human Resources

This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 4, 2025.

Overview

Rockingham SHS is seeking a motivated Administrative Support Coordinator to join our team. This role supports the school’s communications, internal operations, and promotion of the school’s values and achievements.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide operational support in the development, implementation, and management of the school’s comprehensive marketing and media strategic planning.
- Coordinate and oversee teacher relief scheduling and manage associated payroll duties.
- Support HR matters; experience with HRMIS and Compass will be highly regarded.
- Offer human resource support and advice to the School’s Executive team and staff on a range of day-to-day matters.
- Manage and monitor the school’s annual marketing/public relations budget and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality promotional activities.
- Demonstrate strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills in a multifaceted role.

Work Arrangements

Daily start and finish times will be negotiated with the successful applicant; there may be a requirement to commence duties prior to 8:00am.

Eligibility and Requirements

- To Work With Us, You Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start.
- Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
- Additional eligibility and training requirements are outlined in the attached Job Description Form (JDF).
