The VISTAS Systems Administrator plays a pivotal role in overseeing the management, maintenance, and development of the Valuation Information System Tasmania database (VISTAS).
This position requires an individual who can provide expert advice and training on best practice processes, liaise with councils, government departments, and property valuers, contribute to and implement system improvements, and ensure the Office of the Valuer-General (OVG) meets legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Expert Advice and Training: Provide guidance and instruction on optimal workflows and methodologies.
* Liaison and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with councils, government agencies, and property valuation professionals.
* System Development and Improvement: Contribute to and implement enhancements to the VISTAS system.
* Legislative Compliance: Ensure the OVG adheres to relevant laws and regulations.

Benefits and Requirements:
This role offers a competitive remuneration package, including 73.50 hours per fortnight. The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma in Business Management or Project Management and hold a current motor vehicle driver's licence.
