What You'll Be Doing
The Allied Health Department Head is an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team, leading the delivery of quality dietetics services to patients/clients of the SNSW Local Health District to meet health and wellbeing needs.
Selection Criteria
* Tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia (DA).
* Demonstrated highly proficient written, verbal, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
* Extensive knowledge, clinical proficiency and ability to work collaboratively, lead a multidisciplinary team, and take leadership in clinical and operational decision making.
* Ability to prioritise and organise dietetics caseloads across a small regional team.
* Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and leading implementation of evidence-based practice.
* Demonstrated experience in participating in clinical research and knowledge of the research process.
* Demonstrated high-level problem solving and project management skills.
* Current unrestricted driver's licence and the ability to drive/travel as required (may involve long distances).
