About the Role
This apprenticeship program offers a nationally recognised trade qualification – Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30820).
You will gain a combination of theoretical and practical knowledge, delivered by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). You will work on-site at various job sites, constructing and maintaining the transmission overhead network.
* Conduct low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) switching operations
* Locate and rectify faults on the transmission network
* Operate and maintain plant and equipment
About You
To be eligible for this position, you must have the ability to work towards completion of the relevant trade Certificate, adhere to health, safety and environmental practices in the workplace, possess strong communication skills and build positive relationships with peers, leaders and customers.
You will need to be physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical examination and hold a current provisional drivers' licence. You will also need to have completed Year 12 and passed Maths, English and preferably a Science subject.
