About the role
Pierluigi is looking for an experienced baker & pastry chef to join our team at our BRAND CURRENT location in Toorak.
Pierluigi is an Artisan Italian Pasticceria with a focus on Italian cakes and French-inspired cakes, focaccia, bread and pastry goods.
What we are looking for
- Experience of at least 2-3 years
- Confidence in experimenting and creating new products
- Confidence and experience in bread making and pastry goods
- Confidence and experience in Italian and French cakes
- Confidence and experience with equipment such as provers, dough sheeter, ovens, etc.
- Knowledge and understanding of food safety and product wastage
- Knowledge of food ordering and stock management
- Time management skills
- Demonstrates responsibility and leadership
- Maintains cleanliness and keeps the work area clean
- You must be a perfectionist in your craft and love to create beautiful and delicious pastries and cakes
