Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and professional administrator to join a lovely, friendly company based in beautiful surroundings and what an interesting position this is!
The company work alongside construction companies to help them identify any risks posed by explosives on land earmarked for new developments. You will get to delve into the history of the land to see what it has been used for over the years. Has it been affected by war? Could there be unexploded bombs hanging around?
If you have an interest in history and excellent administration skills and attention to detail this role could be for you.
Responsibilities
* Undertake site-specific historic research into land, collating facts and analysing findings.
* Create a formal report of your findings and assist in the preparation of Risk Assessment reports.
* Note: due to location, you will need your own car.
What we're looking for / Qualifications
* Interest or degree in History is a plus, but evidence of relevant interest and ability is acceptable.
* Experience in administration with an excellent eye for detail and a professional, enquiring approach when dealing with customers and researchers.
* Research experience is advantageous; enthusiasm, interest, and the ability to learn are essential, along with excellent IT skills.
