Chemical Manufacturing Operator Secure Permanent position 7am till 3pm plus overtime available $33 - $35 per hour based on experience Epping location The Company Our client is an Australian-owned industry leader with over 35-years experience supplying chemicals, fuels, gases and solvents across a wide range of sectors on an international level. Their site, based in Epping, covers machine operation, production fill lines, storage and blending & batching. Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to: Operate filling, packing, and blending equipment in a chemical manufacturing environment Prepare and handle raw materials, including mixing, decanting, and packaging Accurately complete production documentation and follow established processes Maintain a strong safety focus and actively participate in toolbox and team meetings Assist with inventory movements and reconciliations Operate a forklift safely - if licenced, not mandatory To be considered for this role you will possess the following: Solid background in chemical blending or mixing (dangerous goods exposure preferred, but not essential) Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes and complete documentation accurately Comfortable working in outdoor environments and committed to safe work practices Physically fit, with the ability to lift up to 25kg LF Forklift licence beneficial; must supply own PPE (hi-vis and steel-cap boots) Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, police check, and drug / alcohol screening prior to commencement Hours and Rate Monday to Friday 7am till 3pm with overtime $33 - $35 per hour (neg based on experience) We request that candidates have full Australian working rights.
