Our Kairros Western Australia branch is looking to expand. Across the state we are looking for Rehabilitation Consultant contractors and we are open to the locations below.
* Albany (and surrounds)
* Broome
* Geraldton
Responsibilities
* Support people who have sustained a psychological or physical injury in the workplace on a day-to-day basis.
* Assess needs and provide effective solutions and strategies to ensure a safe return to work within their same employer or with a new employer as part of rehabilitation and recovery.
* Contractor-based role with workload increasing as the regional presence expands and potential for future employment opportunities as growth continues.
* Complete high-quality assessments such as:
* Worksite, vocational, functional, ergonomic, equipment, home and job analysis
* Initial assessments to identify return-to-work barriers
* Providing insights and recommendations to the primary Rehabilitation Consultant to progress case outcomes
* Liaising with insurers, employers, treating practitioners, and workers where required
* Completing accurate case notes and service documentation aligned with SLA and compliance requirements
Qualifications
* Qualifications and relevant professional registration in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Chiropractic with AHPRA or ESSA registration.
* A confident approach towards engaging with multiple stakeholders such as insurers, medical practitioners, employers, colleagues and employees
* Willingness to travel (car and license essential)
* Proven written and verbal communication skills
* Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
* A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time
