We're seeking an experienced Rostering Assistant Manager to support our Home Care rostering team. This is a leadership and people‐support role, responsible for managing workload distribution, coaching staff, overseeing forward planning, and ensuring high‐quality service delivery for our ageing community.

About the Role

In this management position, you will:

* Lead, support, and train Rostering Officers and Rostering CSOs
* Ensure two weeks of forward rostering is built and maintained
* Manage escalations and complex client requests
* Review new client intake capacity and care worker assignment
* Provide rostering analytics and KPI insights
* Support SCHADS Award compliance and Part‐Time contracted hours
* Represent the Rostering Team Leader during periods of absence
Key Selection Criteria (KSC)

Applicants must address the following in a separate document:

* Demonstrated experience in rostering within the Aged Care, Home Care, or Disability sector.
* Proven understanding of SCHADS Award requirements and their application to workforce scheduling.
* Experience in a leadership, coaching, or supervisory capacity, particularly in a fast‐paced operational environment.
* Analytical and problem‐solving abilities, including experience producing workforce or rostering insights.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage escalations and support team members.
* Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high accuracy in a complex environment.
* Commitment to client‐centred care and alignment with organisational values of Care, Team, and Passion.
What We're Looking For
* Rostering experience in Aged Care or Disability
* Leadership capability and confidence supporting others
* Strong problem solving and decision‐making skills
* Ability to interpret Award conditions and apply them operationally
* Experience using rostering or care management software (highly regarded)
