In this role, you'll be responsible for providing hands-on leadership to power generation maintenance, operational, and project activities throughout the Western Australian region, towns, and communities. You will be based in Broome and work closely with our team to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and monitor generation assets and related equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
* Carry out hands-on maintenance, repair, and replacement of generation assets, components, and related equipment.
* Monitor contractor performance and prepare, schedule, execute, and monitor work package delivery in accordance with agreed plans.
Requirements:
* A relevant Australian Trade Qualification is essential.
* Significant hands-on experience in the maintenance and operation of reciprocating diesel power stations or similar roles in heavy industry is required.
* Experience in Generation/Power Station Operation and Maintenance, as well as maintenance planning, scheduling, and work order job flow in a utility/generation environment, is highly desirable.
* Sound knowledge of diesel generation assets and systems, as well as knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures, are necessary.
