Account Payable Officer – Central‐West Orana Project (ACJV)
ACCIONA, in partnership with COBRA and Endeavour Energy, is leading a 4.5 GW transmission network in Central‐West Orana to support the connection of 7.7 GW of wind and solar projects and deliver the required network capacity from 2028.
Role Overview
Our Central‐West Orana project is currently seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Officer to share their expertise within our growing finance team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the receipt and approval process for all invoices and outgoing payments in compliance with established policies and procedures.
* Oversee end‐to‐end processing of accounts payable transactions within the financial system.
* Ensure timely payment of accounts payable, balancing business cash flow needs with payment terms.
* Manage staff reimbursement claims and petty cash disbursements on a fortnightly basis.
* Facilitate the issuance of remittance advices to suppliers and staff.
* Supervise the maintenance of an organised filing system for all accounts payable transactions.
* Ensure accurate processing of GST for all outgoing payments.
* Conduct key supplier account reconciliations, including those for company credit cards and cab charges.
* Identify and implement improvements in AP processes, policies, and systems.

Required Skills and Competencies
* 3+ years professional experience with a finance team.
* Practical experience utilising financial systems.
* Higher/secondary education or equivalent with accounting background.
* Capacity to balance priorities and manage expectations.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively, to exercise initiative, to set priorities and to work within required timelines.
* Demonstrated integrity, resilience, and commitment to pursue organisational goals in a changing environment.
* Strong communicator. Ability to build and sustain relationships with a network of key people internally and externally.
* Highly developed computer literacy skills, including the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email.
