**About The Job Profile**
- To partner with the business and provide effective planning, analysis and advice on all financial aspects withinthe business unit (BU), effectively support and challenge appropriate structures, initiatives and processes that are in place to meet the BU requirements/targets
- With a commercial leadership focus this role will ensure theappropriate structures, initiatives and processes are in place to meet the BU requirements /targets
- The Finance Business Partner will assist the Finance Business Partner Lead and Head of Finance in an opportunity development and prioritisation processes within the BU and will also have influence over the BU strategy
- Responsible for delivery of results against forecast, management of the annual operating budget and forecasting for agreed business opportunities
- Engage with the BU to ensure the budget meets strategic and unit cost deliverables of the business and they are understood and held accountable using comprehensive understanding of business drivers
- Support business leaders with competitor analysis across key KPIs, pricing, margin/cost drivers, customer base, capacity, workforce considerations
- Develop, manage and maintain critical relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Support the Business Leaders in managing investment and project reviews for the business
- Identify opportunity for development and support the prioritisation processes a compelling story that articulates financial and commercial recommendations
- Monitor and regularly challenge senior leaders on business performance and forecasts to drive to agreed targets, reduce conservatism and increase accuracy
- Contribute to continuous improvement of all processes and systems by actively supporting a culture of continuous improvement with a focus on best practice
**About You**
- Professional accounting qualifications preferred; CA/CPA or equivalent - qualified or part qualified
- Demonstrated Business Partnering experience within a large corporate organisation
- At least 6+ years of commerically focused proven working expeirence with in Finance Business Partnering space
- Experience in project analysis and monitoring would be highly preferred
- A strong communicator who can explain complex financial concepts in simple language and must have an ability to influence business partners across key non-finance divisions
- Confident in identifying, resolving, and escalating key points and issues
