Rural Health Initiative
aims to make a positive difference to the health and wellbeing of people living and working in regional Western Australia. A key focus area is to expand our Primary Health Care services for a bigger community impact. One of these initiatives is the establishment of an inaugural General Practice Clinic in Kalgoorlie, partnered with the Curtin Goldfields University Department of Rural Health.

About You
\
We are looking for a
General Practitioner
to support the delivery of high-quality care to patients and the community, with the General Practice Clinic opening in 2025. You will need to have prior experience working in General Practice, and hold your medical registration, along with specialist qualifications of FRACGP or FACRRM.
\
The role is a permanent part-time position (0.5FTE / 19 hours per week), based in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. Our preference is for the successful candidate to reside in Kalgoorlie; however, FIFO may be considered.

About the Role
\
Support the delivery of quality, patient outcome-focused care working closely with the team to develop and deliver efficient and effective care and service delivery.
Provide clinical care to patients by delivering meaningful preventative care and health promotion to help patients manage their health within the community.
Provide clinical support to the General Practitioners, Primary Health Care Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Allied Health Practitioners and Students where applicable.
Create a strong sense of working as a team, promoting multi-disciplinary teamwork and clinical excellence by motivating and developing each clinician individually and as part of a team.
Provide input with regard to development of clinical protocols/procedures, using evidence-based practices and ensuring they meet the standards required for accreditation.
Have an interest in educating the next generation of clinicians and provide clinical training opportunities for students.
Promote and maintain collegiate relationships with the local medical and education facilities.

What We Offer

Total Remuneration Package:
up to $475,000 + relocation (pro rata based on FTE)

Highly Competitive Annual Salary Package:
Base Salary up to $340,000 AUD per annum, pro rata based on FTE, with the following benefits and allowances in addition: Superannuation, 5 Weeks Annual Leave, Professional Development Allowance up to $36,797 per annum, Housing and Utilities (or allowance), Motor Vehicle (or allowance), Medical Indemnity Insurance, Life Insurance, Access to Salary Packaging: Maximize your earnings with up to $15,900 for everyday expenses and up to $2,650 for meals and entertainment.

Incentive Opportunities:
Unlock the potential for additional rewards through the Workforce Incentive Program (WIP) for those in MMM3-7 areas and explore the possibility of earning a share of billings, following review of second year of operation.

Retention Bonus:
12 weeks Equivalent Pay following 3 years of continuous service, and 4 weeks for every 12 months thereafter.
