Join a team committed to systemic change and social justice. As the Senior Education & Project Officer with Central Australian Women’s Legal Service (CAWLS), you’ll design and deliver training that helps health professionals better identify and respond to domestic, family and sexual violence (DFSV), and child sexual abuse (CSA). This role is central to our innovative Health Justice Partnership model.
What You’ll Do
Lead educational initiatives that strengthen the frontline response to DFSV and CSA:
o Develop and deliver engaging training for GPs and health workers
o Build partnerships with health providers across Central Australia
o Improve referral pathways aligned with NT Risk Assessment frameworks
o Create dynamic learning resources, including e-learning tools
o Evaluate impact and support partner organisations through consultation
o Facilitate communities of practice and share knowledge across networks
What You’ll Bring
o Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or strong experience in adult education
o In-depth knowledge of DFSV and CSA, and trauma-informed practice
o Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
o Experience in community, legal, or health services (especially in remote or CALD settings)
o Familiarity with e-learning, referral pathways, or NT Risk Assessment frameworks is a bonus
