HITsa has successfully opened our training rooms in Mount Gambier and wish to expand our training and delivery options across the Limestone Coast.
Position overview:
We are currently seeking qualified and experienced trainers in a range of industries including
- Early Childhood Education and Care
- First Aid
- Individual Support (ageing and disability)
Success candidates will be responsible for delivering accredited training and assessment to students enrolled in our nationally recognised programs as well as completing work placement visits. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is passionate about training and committed to making a positive impact on students' careers in these demanding industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging, and industry-relevant training to students in both classroom and practical settings.
- Assess student competency in line with training package requirements and industry standards.
- Provide students with clear, constructive feedback and support to ensure successful learning outcomes.
- Develop and update training and assessment materials in compliance with current VET sector standards.
- Maintain accurate records of assessment outcomes.
- Ensure training delivery and assessment is aligned with current industry practices and legislative requirements.
- Support the continuous improvement of training programs and contribute to the development of a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and developments to ensure programs remain relevant and high-quality.
Key Requirements:
- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent.
- Relevant qualifications within your area of expertise
- Current Working with Children Check, National Police Check and NDIS clearance
- Current National Police Check
- Prior experience within the sector (Current industry experience will be highly regarded.)
- Solid knowledge of the relevant Training Packages. (Previous experience in delivering training and assessments within the VET sector is preferred.)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- A passion for teaching and helping students achieve their career goals.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
