Job Title: Digital Accessibility Specialist
A key role for this opportunity is to reside in Australia, hold Australian citizenship and obtain baseline clearance.
This contract will commence on February 11th and last for 12 months with possible extensions of up to 12 months.
The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of WCAG guidelines and be able to embed accessibility throughout the software development lifecycle in an agile manner.
Collaboration with designers, developers, testers, content writers, business analysts, product managers, business stakeholders and effective communication of accessibility requirements during the delivery of accessible digital products and services are essential skills required.
Key qualifications include problem-solving abilities, motivation, timely production of high-quality work, effective communication and a collaborative attitude.
Required skills also include testing, teaching, CSS reviews, software development, HTML and business communication.
