About Your Role
As the Service Delivery Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting operational activities and delivering world‐class fleet maintenance and management outcomes. Your leadership will directly contribute to the success of the Regional Rail Project, with a strong focus on safety, customer satisfaction, reliability and environmental compliance.
* Safety, Quality & Environmental Leadership: Demonstrate strong leadership in safety, quality and environmental management, ensuring compliance with company policies, legislative requirements, and industry standards.
* Team Leadership & Performance: Provide clear direction and leadership to teams, ensuring adherence to rostered work schedules, work instructions, and quality and safety requirements.
* Train Availability & Reliability: Ensure trains meet contractual availability and reliability targets by monitoring performance and delivering work in line with the scheduled train plan.
* Incident & Investigation Management: Support and/or lead investigations into incidents related to safety, quality, train availability and faults, ensuring effective resolution and corrective actions.
* Asset Information & Systems Management: Ensure accurate creation and closure of notifications and service orders within the Asset Information System.
* Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: Monitor KPIs against agreed performance indicators and implement improvements in response to contract variations, non‐conformances, budget changes and customer requirements.
About You
You are an experienced leader with a strong background in safety‐critical environments, who thrives in complex operational settings.
* Extensive management or supervisory experience within rail, automotive, military, Defence, avionics, or similar safety‐critical industries
* Strong oral and written communication skills, with proven ability to negotiate, influence and build effective working relationships
* Confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
* Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to present information clearly to support decision‐making
* Exceptional organisational and planning capability, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet timeframes
