The opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Strategic Planning professional, to join our team in the position of Planning Proposals Team Leader for a period of up to 12 months.
Directly reporting to the Strategic Planning Coordinator, and joining a team of 7, you will play a key role in assisting the team in improving the physical, environmental social and economic amenity of our community.
As Team Leader, you will provide leadership and mentorship to 3 Strategic Planners.
This is a contract opportunity commencing immediately for a period of up to 12 months.
Secondment opportunities will be considered.
This is a contract opportunity – working full-time 35 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangement
Total Remuneration Package Range: $145,514 to $166,874 pa based on 35 hours / week (inclusive of 12% superannuation + $19,364 motor vehicle allowance + $2,464 retention allowance)
You will be working from PSC Administration Building, Raymond Terrace

A degree qualification in town planning, urban design or associated equivalent
Demonstrated experience in the planning and development industry
Demonstrated professional written communication skills including sound word processing abilities
Demonstrated ability to supervise and manage staff
