About Our Client:
Our client is a not-for-profit organisation that offers crisis support services to individuals in need. As the Payroll Officer on their team, you will have the opportunity to work with an organisation dedicated to supporting individuals and communities and making a positive impact in Australia. Our client's office is situated in Perth's western suburbs, conveniently accessible by public transportation, with nearby parking available.
As the Payroll Officer, reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for the following:
Accurately processing and recording payroll transactions using Roubler payroll software
End-to-end payroll duties for 130 employees on a fortnightly pay cycle
Ensuring compliance with HR and payroll legislation and reporting requirements
Managing all payments and receipts
Maintaining detailed, reliable, and accurate financial records
Providing financial and administrative support to colleagues as required
The Successful Applicant:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
2+ years experience working in a similar position
Experience with SCHADS Award or other complex not-for-profit Awards
Strong transaction processing and reconciliation abilities
Ability to investigate and resolve issues and queries
Working knowledge of accounting standards and human resource legislative requirements
Strong organisational and time management skills
High level of confidentiality, tact, discretion, and initiative
Well-developed communication and relationship management skills
