Lead with Purpose

As a senior disability support worker, you will play a key role in delivering high-impact support to individuals with complex needs.

You will work in state-of-the-art Vertical Villages supporting both psychosocial and high physical/clinical care.

Grow as a Leader

Access hands-on leadership training, clinical upskilling, and career progression in a values-driven team.

Our Mission

At our organisation, we create safe, supportive homes in our Vertical Villages and tailored accommodation.

Our 24-hour support empowers participants to live independently and choose their lifestyle. We build thriving communities where people belong and flourish.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and committed Senior Disability Support Worker to join our team full-time in Liverpool.

This Vertical Village supports individuals with high physical and complex clinical needs.

You will provide hands-on support while guiding a team of support workers across shifts.

Your leadership will ensure safe, consistent, and person-centred care every day.

A nursing qualification is highly desirable for this site due to the level of clinical complexity.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage high-risk clinical care needs: seizure management, bowel care, midazolam, hoisting, wound care
* Support individuals using trauma-informed and positive behaviour practices
* Work closely with allied health, behaviour support practitioners, and families
* Lead by example and coach support workers on shift
* Ensure compliance with NDIS standards, care plans, and restrictive practice requirements
* Help onboard new team members and foster a strong team culture
* Keep accurate shift notes, incident reports, and clinical documentation

Requirements

* Minimum Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or Mental Health (Nursing degree highly desirable)
* 3+ years' experience in complex care, including high physical and clinical supports
* Confident managing hoists, bowel care, PEG feeding, and emergency response
* Experience working with individuals who have mental health conditions, trauma backgrounds, or justice involvement
* Calm, proactive, and able to make sound decisions under pressure
* Strong understanding of safeguarding, professional boundaries, and person-centred care
* Available for 24/7 rotating roster including overnights and weekends
* NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid Certificate, and valid Driver Licence required
