The Clinical Nurse is responsible for leading and delivering high-quality care to frail older adults and cognitively impaired patients in an Acute & Restorative Care Unit.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will contribute to geriatric evaluation, rehabilitation, and dementia care, driving practice improvements and embedding evidence-based approaches.
Key Responsibilities
 * Deliver autonomous person-centred care.
 * Provide leadership in clinical decision making to coordinate care services.
 * Assume responsibility for professional leadership of a ward or unit in the absence of the Nurse Grade 7.
 * Apply critical thinking across all domains.
Required Skills and Qualifications
 * Current registration as a registered nurse with AHPRA.
 * Postgraduate qualifications in acute care, gerontology, or a related field are desirable.
