This is a unique opportunity to work with AbbVie, recognized on the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For list for the 8th year in a row in 2025!Some travel requirements apply for this position.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and execute comprehensive brand strategies to maintain and grow brand equity and market share.Conduct and analyze market research to identify consumer trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities, using data to inform strategic decisions.Manage the brand budget efficiently, ensuring optimal resource allocation to achieve marketing goals.Collaborate with Market Analytics and Business Intelligence (MABI) and Finance partners to develop forecast models and review them regularly to ensure consistent product supply by accurately predicting future demand and financial performance.Work cross-functionally with affiliate functions (Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Patient Experience, PV, Sales, MABI, etc.)
to define local brand strategies, priorities, and action plans that meet performance expectations.Model AbbVie's ways of working and enable the Brand Team matrix to collaborate effectively to achieve high-quality strategies and execution capabilities.Plan, execute, and evaluate marketing campaigns across digital and traditional media, monitoring effectiveness and adjusting tactics as needed.Develop and refine brand positioning, messaging, and value propositions to differentiate from competitors and connect with target audiences.Establish and track KPIs to measure branding success, providing regular reports to senior management.Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to ensure high-quality outputs.Mentor and develop brand managers and marketing specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.Ensure all brand activities comply with regulatory and internal policies.Ensure all business activities adhere to relevant laws, acts, and ethical standards.Report any adverse events within 24 hours as per policies.Participate proactively in AbbVie's WHS programs, adhering to policies and promoting a safe work environment.Follow AbbVie's codes of conduct and compliance procedures.Perform other duties as assigned, including administrative tasks.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.Advanced to mastery level competency within the AbbVie capability framework.Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Proven success in brand management and growth.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.Experience working in and influencing a matrix environment with negotiation skills.Leadership qualities with a focus on coaching for performance and results.High emotional intelligence, resilience, and adaptability.Strong business acumen with a customer and patient focus.Proficiency in marketing tools, including CRM, SEO, and analytics platforms.Significant experience in senior brand management, preferably with product launch experience in healthcare or pharmaceuticals.Experience leading and influencing in a matrix/cross-functional environment.Deep knowledge of marketing principles and techniques.Flexibility and Availability: We respect employees' right to disconnect outside working hours, in line with Australia's legislation.
