Your responsibilities will include:
1. Driving a MC vehicle – travelling in convoy transporting explosives nationally
2. Championing safe work practices and complying with all aspects Heavy Vehicle Regulations
3. Loading and unloading of cargo in a safe, secure and timely manner; ensuring all paperwork is accurate
* Present a professional image at work regarding personal and vehicle presentation
What you need to succeed:
4. 5+ years' experience in driving heavy vehicles, with interstate and long-haul experience highly desirable
5. A current MC Licence and DG Licence; Queensland Explosives Security Clearance (QESC) and Explosives Drivers Licence (EDL) highly desirable. Don't have a QESC or EDL, that's okay we'll train you
6. A can-do attitude, reliability, and excellent communication skills
* Willingness to be on the road for up to 12 nights

To be considered a Defence security clearance is required for this role, so applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance.
