The successful candidate will report to the Store Manager and be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment, ensuring high standards across all areas of the store.
Main Responsibilities:
* Customer Service: Maximise sales by providing a great standard of customer service and ensuring our customers receive a positive shopping experience.
* Team Collaboration: Support and motivate the store team by executing routines and processes to a high standard, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
* Store Maintenance: Follow direction to maintain all areas of the store to the highest standard, including adhering to safety protocols and ensuring equipment is in working order.
* Training and Development: Assist with the induction and training of new employees and further development and training of existing employees, enhancing their skills and knowledge to support the growth of our business.
* Communication: Communicate effectively with the Store Manager and other team members regarding incidents, damages, operational problems, or suggestions, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.
* Stock Management: Minimise stock losses caused by store damages and internal/external theft, while also ensuring accurate stocktake and inventory management practices are in place.
* Operational Efficiency: Support the Store Team in managing the store's operational efficiency, including ensuring information essential for Department Champions/Duty Managers is communicated effectively.
