Senior Systems Administrator
We're looking for an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our team and play a key role in maintaining, optimising, and evolving our IT infrastructure. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who thrives in complex environments, enjoys solving problems, and can confidently lead projects while supporting business‐critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide Level 3 support and troubleshoot complex technical issues
* Maintain system security, backups and redundancy strategies
* Monitor system performance and proactively improve availability
* Manage escalated issues impacting business operations
* Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders
* Support users, including occasional after‐hours assistance
* Lead and contribute to IT projects and initiatives
* Design, implement and document new and existing systems
About You
* Strong experience in a 2nd/3rd level Systems Administrator role (5+ years preferred)
* Solid Microsoft stack expertise (Windows Server, O365, Exchange, AD/Azure)
* Experience with Citrix (XenApp, Workspace, XenMobile)
* Knowledge of cloud/virtual environments and modern identity (AAD, SSO, MFA)
* Proven project delivery experience
* Strong troubleshooting and problem‐solving skills
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously
