Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Estimating Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for providing accurate and competitive estimates for commercial mechanical/HVAC projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed material and labor estimates for commercial mechanical projects, including air conditioning, ventilation, duct work, thermal plants, and electrical works.
* Review plans, specifications, and scope of work to identify potential risks and opportunities.
* Continuously research and update material and labor costs to maintain accurate and competitive estimates.
* Provide support to the project team during the construction process.
To be successful in this role, you will require significant experience in commercial HVAC, preferably within the construction industry. A strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, BMS, and mechanical electrical, is essential. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications is also required.
