The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will play a key role in providing financial oversight to GMB Water's management and financial accounting activities, providing advice and support on financial performance to the Senior Management Team and the Board.
This newly created position offers variety and impact—you'll undertake and assist with budgeting and forecasting, analysis and reporting, accounting policy and capital management through high quality analysis and interpretation of the drivers of financial performance using financial models and other tools to drive continuous improvement in financial management.
What We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate will bring:
* Demonstrated experience in a financial and/ or management accounting in a complex for profit or not for profit organisation, regulated utility, government department or local government entity
* Strong analytical, problem solving, strategic planning and organisational skills
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
* Extensive experience in the use of accounting software and financial management systems
* Relevant degree and CA, CPA or CAANZ qualification or equivalent

Salary
The salary for this role is between $121,030.46 and $127,547.03 per annum, plus superannuation.
