THE ROLE 
To lead and take ownership of the strategic direction, rejuvenation, community engagement, leasing, special projects, urban design/place making initiatives at Sanctuary Cove Marine Village. Akin to a Project Director role, the duties of the role are to set out a clear staging program which encapsulates the necessary vision, strategic direction and master planning to ultimately deliver a world class lifestyle retail community/destination known as the Marine Village, which is at the heart of, and integrated amongst the Hotel, Marina and residential precincts within the luxury Sanctuary Cove Resort. Ultimately, the role will drive asset and investment strategy, be accountable for P&L; outcomes and outperformance, and also oversee centre/facilities management. 
Key responsibilities will include 
Establish/refine a vision and asset strategy regarding the property improvement plan at Sanctuary Cove Marine Village 
Setting and meeting P&L; outcomes and return on investment objectives 
Oversee and drive asset management initiatives 
Oversee leasing activities, including tenant negotiations, lease renewals and occupancy strategies (working with the required leasing resources) 
Co-ordinate with property management teams to ensure efficient property operations and maintenance 
Implement and monitor property management policies and procedures 
Ensure the Property is in compliance with all regulatory and safety standards 
Implement required reporting, systems and policies over the team/property 
Plan and oversee capital improvement projects to enhance property value (working with internal Project Management and Technical Services teams) 
Perform other real estate related duties as assigned 
Prepare board papers 
Powerpoint presentations 
Attend and lead Sanctuary Cove community engagement sessions as it relates to the Marine Village 
YOUR BACKGROUND 
15+ years of experience having delivered/managed renowned lifestyle retail precincts 
Bachelor of Commerce or similar 
Post graduate qualifications preferred 
Demonstratable track record of having successfully achieved superior outcomes on retail investment assets 
Strong asset experience in retail, office & mixed-use property 
Strong financial acumen 
Self-motivated to take ownership of asset strategy and outcomes orientated 
Big picture thinking as well as an eye for detail 
Very strong presentation skills and articulate 
Team player and strong communicator with all; 
Well organised and a good leader.
