Job Opportunity: Assistant in Nursing
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to join our dynamic Medical and Surgical teams at Manning Base Hospital.
In this role, you will provide high-quality, individualised patient care under the direction and guidance of Registered Nurses.
Responsibilities:
* Assist nurses and the multidisciplinary team in delivering safe, effective, and person-centred care.
* Support routine clinical tasks such as preparing for procedures and maintaining equipment.
* Accurately document patient care to ensure continuity and quality of service.
* Uphold NSW Health's values, codes of conduct, and commitment to cultural respect and patient safety.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assistant in Nursing), or be currently enrolled in an undergraduate Nursing degree (completed first year and at least first semester/trimester of second year), or be currently enrolled in a TAFE NSW Diploma of Nursing (completed foundational units in practice and minimum 120 hours of clinical placement).
