Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll and finance processes.

Responsibilities
- End-to-end payroll processing, including superannuation, tax compliance, and reconciliations (workforce of less than 500 employees).
- First point of contact for payroll queries from employees and stakeholders.
- Preparing payroll-related reports, including month-end, year-end, and audit support.
- Maintaining payroll and T&A; systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Assisting with finance tasks such as reporting, budgeting, and journal entries.
- Supporting process improvements, system administration, and ad hoc projects.

- Solid experience across payroll and finance functions, ideally including end-to-end payroll.
- Sound knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, and award interpretation.
- Proficiency with payroll systems and Excel, and a willingness to embrace new tech or smarter ways of working.
- Attention to detail balanced with the ability to step back and see the bigger picture.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with a focus on positive and professional interactions.
