We offer a fixed-term contract to 31 December, salary range of $109,791 – $129,547, 17% Super and excellent benefits.
About the Role
James Cook University's Central Queensland Centre for Rural and Remote Health (CQCRRH) is seeking a dynamic Clinical Lead to champion service-learning programmes and workforce development in remote communities.
What You'll Do
Lead and support interprofessional service-learning programmes for adults and children in high-priority areas.
Mentor students, rural generalist trainees and early-career professionals.
Foster partnerships with local health services and community organisations.
Contribute to research and evidence-based practice in rural health.
Promote health careers and support JCU's commitment to reconciliation and sustainability.
What We're Looking For
Essential
Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and relevant postgraduate credentials.
Senior experience in rural and Indigenous health contexts.
Passion for innovative clinical education and interprofessional practice.
Strong communication skills and cultural competency.
Desirable
Experience in service-learning models and rural health leadership.
Project or programme management experience.
Willingness to pursue further education relevant to the role.
Special Requirements
Current AHPRA registration (or equivalent).
Driver's licence and willingness to travel remotely.
Flexibility to work outside standard hours when required.
