Personal Care Attendant / Food Services Assistant - Murray Gardens Retirement Village

RetireAustralia is seeking a caring, flexible, and service-focused individual to join our team at Murray Gardens Retirement Village in East Albury NSW as a Personal Care Attendant / Food Services Assistant.
This casual role offers variety and flexibility, combining personal care support with food service duties in a welcoming, community-focused environment

Availability to pick up shifts as required will be highly regarded.
About the Role
Reporting to the Village Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting our residents with compassion and professionalism.
Your responsibilities will include a combination of personal care and food services duties, including:
Personal Care Attendant Responsibilities
* Assisting residents with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, personal grooming, and continence management
* Supporting residents to receive prescribed medications accurately and in a timely manner
* Managing resident laundry as required to maintain comfort, hygiene, and wellbeing
* Building positive, respectful relationships with residents and contributing to a supportive team environment
Food Services Assistant Responsibilities
* Providing friendly and professional customer service when taking, preparing, and serving meals and drinks
* Assisting with the preparation, service, and delivery of daily meals and special functions
* Maintaining kitchen, dining, and service areas in accordance with HACCP, food safety, and HSE standards
* Completing daily cleaning tasks including clearing tables and cleaning and storing dishes and cutlery
You will also be flexible and willing to assist with other duties as required to support village operations.
We're on the lookout for someone with:
* Experience in aged care or a similar role
* Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
* Current Food Handling Certificate.
* Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
* Drivers Licence and Reliable Transport (desirable)
* National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
* First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain)
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol screening
