Who We Are
At Express Portables, we don't just move boxes - we deliver projects that change the way people live, work and play. From tiny homes and backyard cabins to saunas, ice baths, and BBQ entertainment units, our products are as diverse as our customers. With rapid national growth underway, we're looking for someone who can keep the wheels (and trucks) turning.
Why You'll Love This Role
If you enjoy variety, problem-solving, and the buzz of getting things from A to B on time - this is your playground. One day you're coordinating a tiny home delivery to the mountains, the next you're scheduling a crane truck to lift an ice bath into an NRL training facility. You'll be the person who makes it all run smoothly.
What You'll Do
This role is primarily computer-based, focusing on scheduling, quoting, and coordinating logistics. You'll also support warehouse operations, on the odd occasion operating forklifts or assisting with complex loads. It's a hybrid role combining logistics coordination and warehouse supervision, where you'll act as organiser, problem-solver, and leader, ensuring everything moves efficiently from container to customer.
Logistics (the puzzle-solving bit):
* Plan and schedule deliveries across Australia — from crane trucks to semi-trailers
* Quote transport costs and negotiate with subcontractors
* Resolve delivery challenges quickly (because they always pop up)
* Work closely with Sales to keep customers happy
Warehouse (the on-the-ground action):
* Coordinate daily warehouse operations and staff tasks
* Oversee receipt and dispatch of stock
* Optimising space, systems, and equipment for maximum pallet racking efficiency
* Coordinate loading/unloading of trucks, containers and deliveries
* Keep the warehouse tidy, safe, and team ready
* Lead by example on WHS - safety first, always
About You
We're looking for someone who loves the mix of organising, leading, and doing. You'll bring a background in logistics and warehouse operations, a knack for problem-solving, and a calm head when the unexpected happens.
You'll have:
* 3+ years' experience in transport/logistics or warehouse supervision
* Strong load planning and subcontractor management skills
* Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word and CRMs
* Great communication skills - clear, professional and confident
* Leadership ability - you know how to get the best out of a small team
* A safety mindset and commitment to doing things right
What's In It For You
* $90, % super
* 4 weeks annual leave + 10 personal leave days
* Paid public holidays
* Flexible working hours
* Join a team where help and advice is only a desk away in the same office
* To be part of a fast-growing business with exciting trending products
