Mineral Resources is seeking multiple Communications Technicians to join our IT Infrastructure team supporting lithium operations at Wodgina and Mt Marion. The role involves managing systems such as GPS guidance, fleet management, in-vehicle monitoring, and collision avoidance to ensure optimal performance.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Installing and configuring site-based technology systems like GPS guidance, fleet management, and collision avoidance systems.
2. Reading schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions for product assembly and testing.
3. Assisting in fault finding, troubleshooting, and repairing non-conforming products.
4. Troubleshooting complex technical issues and delivering innovative solutions.
5. Ensuring maintenance and installation standards are met.
Requirements:
* Trade qualified or relevant experience in electronics, radio, or networking.
* Experience with structured cabling (Cat6A) and endorsements.
* Support experience with fleet management systems and machinery.
* Understanding of core machinery and DC power systems (12V-56V).
* Networking installation and fault-finding skills, including fiber optics.
* Certifications: ACMA Open Cable Registration, Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platform License.
* Full Manual C Class Driver’s License.
* FIFO experience is a plus.
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
