Regional Livestock Exchanges (RLX) develops modern livestock facilities in strategic locations across Australia to ensure stock numbers, transport efficiency, and long-term sustainability. Our portfolio includes ten sites across Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria, such as Central Queensland Livestock Exchange (CQLX) and Northern Victoria Livestock Exchange (NVLX). Our goal is to enhance regional capabilities and provide high-quality services to the livestock industry.
This role, reporting directly to the CEO, is located at our site in Barnawartha and is accountable for the delivery of strategic and operational Human Resources activities to the business, including payroll.
This part time role of approximately hours a week is responsible for:
* Leading or facilitating HR interventions and solutions to meet business critical needs, add value and improve business performance
* Working closely with the Site Managers and other leaders to build their leadership and management capability.
* Developing and implement a RLX strategic resource plan including internal talent identification and development as well as external channels to market
* Ensure Payroll is completed accurately and on time
* Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, reviewing periodically in line with legislative and organisational changes.
* Management of annual remuneration & incentive processes including development or revision as required
* Coaching and management of direct reports
To be successful, you will have:
* Previous experience in a HR Generalist role, ideally working with multi-site organisations or with a blue-collar workforce
* Experience with Management of complex Employee Relations issues
* Demonstrated working knowledge and previous experience applying the relevant legislation including award interpretation, performance management processes and understanding of Fair Work processes
* A self-motivated individual with a high level of accuracy and pride in their attention to detail
* Discretion when engaging with employees and ability to manage deliverables confidentiality to defined deadlines
* An approachable personality with a customer service-centric outlook
* The ability to influence and build relationships cross functionally
* A passion for training and development would be highly regarded
