, we deliver high-quality, patient-focused medical imaging and radiology services across the entire region.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused
Medical Receptionist
to join our busy front desk team.
Working across our
Nambour
clinics, you'll be the first point of contact for patients attending appointments for
X-ray, Ultrasound, CT and MRI
services.
This is a full-time role
, working a
9-day fortnight
, Monday to Friday between
7:30am – 5:00pm
.
No weekends
What a Typical Day Looks Like
* Welcoming patients and creating a positive first impression
* Booking appointments and managing patient enquiries
* Processing patient accounts, Medicare and private health funds
* Liaising with referrers, doctors and patients regarding appointments and results
* Participating in team meetings and training sessions
* Following policies, procedures and workplace health & safety standards
About You
* Previous experience in Medical, Dental, Allied Health, Hospital, Radiology or Medical Imaging reception highly regarded
* Strong computer skills and experience using booking systems
* Confidence with medical terminology (or willingness to learn)
* Professional presentation with excellent communication and patient-care skills
* A team player who values integrity, respect and professionalism
