Service Coordinator Job Overview
Randstad is seeking a highly skilled Service Coordinator to join their team in Melbourne, VIC. This exciting role involves delivering cost-effective services construction per project design and delivery brief.
As a Service Coordinator, you will oversee compliance with all safety, quality, design, authority and building code requirements. You will also ensure all client requirements are met for services packages in head and subcontracts.
* Monitor the documentation of a project to meet brief and procurement requirements.
* Assist with reviewing changes to services design in line with budgetary constraints.
* Adhere to application of relevant green building / sustainability rating requirements.
* Coordinate work of subcontractors for installation of services packages.
* Track programs and job plans, adjusting as required to meet schedule.
* Coordinate services design and pertaining procurement program.
* Rectify issues raised by external and internal stakeholders.
* Review sub-contractor claims and recommend approval.
* Support rectification of services defects as required.
* Monthly reporting for services installation progress.
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), or equivalent trade background.
* 3 to 6+ years' relevant industry experience in services engineering, consulting, or coordination.
* Prior Tier 1 or 2 builder experience on site for large commercial building services projects.
* Practical knowledge of the NCC / BCA and relevant building services requirements.
* Sound construction knowledge and understanding of building / construction trades.
* Proven experience coordinating services subcontractors / consulting engineers.
* Well-versed with quality and safety requirements on construction projects.
* Well-developed planning, program management, stakeholder management, task management, collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills.
