Duties and responsibilities may include:
* Deliver comprehensive mental health care tailored to client needs.
* Safely manage and administer prescribed psychotropic medications in line with clinical and correctional standards.
* Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patient's conditions.
* Conduct health programs designed to improve mental wellness.
* Administer medication and treatments to patients.
* Maintain accurate patient records.
* Supporting participants with complex and/or challenging needs.
* Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required.
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for the patient.
* Supervise, coordinate, and work in consultation with other healthcare members.
Mental Health Nurse Requirements:
* Current AHPRA Registration.
* Current Federal Police Check.
* Current Australian Driver's License.
* Current CPR & First Aid certification
* NDIS Clearance.
* Current Flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain).
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in Mental Health Nursing.
* Ready to start asap and flexible to take any shifts.
* Smartphone with internet access.
