This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Dietitian to join a specialist multidisciplinary team providing clinical workforce support, guidance, education, and workforce capability development to teams/services.

The successful candidate will work within a highly supported environment to develop their specialist clinical skills in the area of eating disorders.

This includes dietetic consultation, education, and guidance to clinicians on assessment, clinical management, treatment, and discharge planning relating to eating disorders.
">
As part of the Eating Disorders Clinical Support Team, this position will also provide direct targeted clinical care that supplements existing service provision to individuals with an eating disorder in inpatient, community-based, and virtual care settings.
">
This may include individual treatment, specialist nutritional education and counseling, facilitation of group treatment modes, facilitation of carer support, and contribution to the ongoing development of the SESLHD Eating Disorders Specialist Team.

Applicants must possess qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning in the area of eating disorders.
">
A strong understanding of consumer-focused, recovery-oriented approaches to working with individuals with mental health concerns and their families is essential.
">
The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation, decision-making, and advocacy skills, including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders throughout all organisational levels.
">
They will also be able to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team and apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgment when dealing with novel, complex, or critical situations.
">
This role requires the ability to initiate, lead, complete, and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes, including providing advice to managers to inform clinical service development and practice change.

Additionally, current unrestricted NSW Class C drivers' license and willingness to travel are necessary requirements.
