About the Role
The Principal Education Officer will work in the Curriculum team to:
- Develop and deliver curriculum resources that support the provision of the Australian Curriculum version 9 in Queensland state schools
- Develop and enhance P-6 Curriculum Framework materials
- Create curriculum resources to ensure continuity of learning for all students
- Maintain the integrity of the suite of published C2C resources, as required
- Develop and present professional development materials to facilitate the use of the AC and C2C resources and build capability and understanding of the AC
- Liaise and work collaboratively within and across teams to ensure on time delivery of quality products
- Provide high level strategic advice to senior management and clients that supports the provision of the AC
- Contribute to briefing materials, submissions, papers, reports and correspondence on curriculum, pedagogy and assessment topics
- Liaise with and build positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
About You
**The ideal applicant will have the following key attributes**:
- Extensive knowledge of, and experience with, the AC
- Teaching experience, knowledge and skills (preferably early years/primary)
- High level written, spoken and digital communication skills including the ability to create high quality curriculum support resources and professional development materials
- Demonstrated capacity to work successfully both within a team and autonomously on complex projects and achieve required outcomes within set timeframes
