About the Role
This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled Polywelder Operator to join our team. As an all-rounder, no two days will be the same.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installation of HDPE pipelines, dewatering equipment, butt welding of polyethylene plastic pipelines and electro-fusion welding of polyethylene pipeline.
* Installation of HDPE Pipelines
* Dewatering Equipment Installation
* Butt Welding of Polyethylene Plastic Pipelines
* Electro-Fusion Welding of Polyethylene Pipeline
* Use of Extrusions & Injection Techniques and Weld Plastic Materials
* Setup and Loading of Poly-Welding Machines
* Lead Welding Crews (Operators & Trades Assistants) to Ensure Weld Productivity
* Maintenance of Welding Machinery
* Loading and Unloading of Trucks with Equipment and Machinery
* Operation of Equipment and Machinery as Necessary
* Installation of Pumps and Piping Systems
* Dewatering Duties in Active Mining Environments
* Pre-Start Checklists on Equipment and Vehicles
* Welding Pipelines as Per Supervisor's Direction
* Driving to Remote Mine Sites
* Intra and Interstate Travel May Be Required
* Maintenance of Clean and Safe Working Environment
We are looking for a skilled professional who can work independently and as part of a team.
Key Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in HDPE piping systems
* Strong knowledge of welding techniques and machinery
* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
* Valid driver's license
* Ability to lift 25 kg or more
* Good communication and teamwork skills
