Key Responsibilities
* Develop and qualify new business opportunities for utility-scale battery energy storage projects.
* Engage directly with clients to understand their energy storage needs and tailor solutions that align with project goals and technical requirements.
* Prepare and deliver persuasive technical presentations, proposals, and bids to prospective customers.
* Collaborate with the engineering and solution teams to ensure proposed systems meet both technical and commercial expectations.
* Lead the sales process from early engagement through contract execution, including pricing strategy, risk assessment, and deal structuring.
* Conduct preliminary site and feasibility assessments in collaboration with the technical team.
* Provide guidance on project economics, ROI modeling, and financial justifications to support customer decision-making.
* Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments affecting the BESS landscape.
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
* Represent the organization at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote our offerings and expand our market presence.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, electronics, renewable energy, or a related field), business, or a closely related discipline; or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably within the energy or energy storage sectors.
* Solid understanding of battery energy storage systems, renewable energy technologies, and grid interconnection requirements.
* Strong business acumen with the ability to articulate technical value propositions in commercial terms.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving market environment.
* Ability to travel to client sites, project locations, and industry events as needed.
* Fluency in English and Chinese is required.
