Position Description
The practice is seeking a Locum General Practitioner to provide high‐quality primary healthcare services to patients during a temporary placement period. This role offers the opportunity to practice medicine in one of Australia's most desirable coastal locations while working within a supportive and professional team.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive general medical consultations to patients of all ages
* Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
* Deliver preventative health care and health promotion
* Perform minor procedures as appropriate to scope of practice
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records
* Collaborate with practice nurses, administrative staff, and allied health providers
* Ensure compliance with AHPRA standards, Medicare requirements, and clinical governance guidelines
Essential Position Requirements
* Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner (General Registration or Specialist Registration)
* FRACGP, FACRRM, or equivalent preferred
* Eligibility to provide Medicare services in Australia
* Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
* Excellent communication and patient care skills
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
