The role
This role is located in Wagga Wagga, You must be able to commute to this location.
The disability support worker is responsible for implementing, training, and support services and maximising people's living, employment, social, and recreational skills with a disability. Community inclusion, independence, decision making, and personal choice should be promoted through support, focusing on individual needs.

Selection Criteria
- Must be committed to promoting empowerment, respect, dignity and inclusion when supporting participants and carers.
- Valuable communication skills with developed interpersonal skills.
- Must have high level of spoken English with understanding of local sayings and references.
- Driving's license, car and comprehensive car insurance.
- Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- First Aid & CPR.
- National Police Check.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- New Worker NDIS Induction Module.
- Minimum Certificate III in Disability Studies or related fields (desirable).
- Demonstrated ability and skill to use person‐centred care.
- Possess well‐developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including conflict resolution, negotiation, problem‐solving, and the ability to communicate effectively as a team member.
