Our homely atmosphere provides comfort to residents, including those living with dementia who require specialised support. We are committed to delivering high-quality care and fostering a supportive environment for both residents and staff.As a Multiskilled Carer, you will work closely with residents to support their daily living, social, and emotional needs. In this role, you will share responsibility for the well-being of residents, providing person-centred care and enhancing their quality of life by ensuring they feel welcome and respected at all times.Full time, part time and casual opportunities available.Key Responsibilities:Assist residents with personal care needs like bathing, dental hygiene, dressing, grooming, and other personal careSupport residents in maintaining or restoring their independence by assisting with activities of interest and mobility aids as neededComplete accurate and timely documentation, reporting relevant information to Nursing, Allied Health, and Management as requiredMaintain effective workplace communication, demonstrating respect, openness to change, and kindnessAssist with medication administration in accordance with facility policiesKey Requirements:Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (desirable)Experience working within an aged care setting as a carerAbility to relate to elderly customers with empathy and collaborate effectively with health professionals, service providers, and case managersAbility to interpret individual care plans and provide tailored care to meet individual goalsStrong communication, organisational, and time management skillsUnderstanding of cognitive strategies, social interaction, and meeting the mental and emotional health needs of residentsHow to Apply:Don’t miss this opportunity to join a supportive team in a rewarding role!
