PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Contributes to operational effectiveness by coordinating and overseeing the operations, repairs and maintenance of Power and Water’s
wastewater reticulation systems in Darwin and surrounding areas assigned to the Reticulation Northern region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The “WHAT” to be delivered
* Ensure that sewer reticulation systems are operated and maintained to agreed service levels and licence requirements through efficient
and effective management of the day-to-day operations and repairs of the sewer reticulation assets.
* Participate in an on-call roster as part of 24/7 service coverage, with the readiness to travel to remote locations if required
* Assist in the development of preventative and planned maintenance and minor capital works programs.
* Safely and efficiently execute unplanned/planned works defined in a Works Program schedule.
* Coordinate, control, and manage internal and external resources (contract management) to achieve operational and maintenance
programs as allocated.
* Provide all information required for work order close out, including all relevant asset information, and record in the approved system.

• Maintain and promote a high standard of customer service including timely and sensitive responses to customer complaints, enquiries
and cross-cultural issues.

• Support a continuous improvement culture, developing and reviewing processes and procedures to ensure they are current and relevant
to legislative, regulatory and other work requirements.
* Effectively undertake investigations, develop concept and detailed designs, specifications and justifications for capital and operational
