The Role
We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to help mature our organisation and lead a significant digital transformation journey. Reporting directly to the CEO and Board, you will drive a portfolio of digital initiatives that underpin our evolution, including ERP complementation, eCommerce innovation, AI-enabled automation, enterprise data strategy, internal IT management uplift and cyber security.
Data
We recognise the critical importance of data for our long-term success. Additional experience and skill regarding all aspects of data maturity are preferred, including data architecture, data infrastructure, data design, and data governance. Expertise in advanced analytics, AI/ML integration, cloud data platforms, and real-time data pipelines is highly valued. A history of elevating data maturity and embedding data as a strategic asset across technology, operations, and decision‑making is essential.
As CTO, you'll provide strategic and technical leadership, assess our digital landscape, and guide key decisions on technology investment, architecture, and capability building, including optimisation in the ways of working. You will be our trusted advisor and digital champion, ensuring Team Medical is a recognised digital leader in its space. Cyber security experience is a must with a strong understanding of cyber security principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks, ensuring technology systems remain secure and resilient.
Mentoring and Developing Internal Talent
A vital aspect of this role is mentoring and developing internal talent, equipping existing staff to grow into future technology leadership positions, including a successor CTO over time.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate combines deep technical acumen and AI expertise with strong leadership, communication, and change management skills, developed over a minimum 20 years in ITC leadership.
Part‑Time Role
This is a part‑time role (approximately 20 hours per week) preferably in Sydney and on site in Seven Hills 1‑2 days per week combined with working from home for a senior technology professional ready to make a lasting impact in healthcare through digital innovation.
